Nic Salt inventory risk control 101

Ordering nic salt is not difficult. Ordering nic salt that sell through without a return queue behind them is the part most buyers underestimate, and it is where we spend our time. We supply smoke shop owners in European and North American markets with core lines that turn over predictably, and we keep the specification list short enough for your team to actually manage.

Keeping the second shipment identical

We ship nic salt e-liquids to distributors, chain buyers and independent shops. What follows is the material we normally cover in a first conversation: what we hold in stock, how we test it, how it ships, and what happens when a carton arrives damaged.

The replacement policy is deliberately simple: report within seven days of delivery with photos and the batch code, and we replace or credit at the next shipment. We do not argue about a defect we can see in a photograph.

Reorders are the real test of a supplier. If the second shipment does not match the first, the relationship is over regardless of price, so we treat the reorder as the actual deliverable.

Choosing the core line

We source nic salt e-liquids from a small group of factories we have worked with for years. That means a specification can be held across repeat orders instead of being re-qualified from scratch every quarter. Consistency is a boring selling point and it is also the entire game.

The first question we ask is not what you want to spend. It is what your customer already buys. Answer that and the nic salt list writes itself; skip it and you end up with a pallet of stock that photographs well and sells badly.

For smoke shop owners, the practical answer is usually a shorter range: two core lines, one step-up, one trial SKU. Everything else is inventory risk wearing a nice finish.

Reading a quotation properly

We publish a realistic band of 1.51 to 4.88 per unit for standard configurations at 200 units. Below that band you are buying a lighter specification; above it you are paying for finish, packaging or a smaller run.

Freight is quoted separately and honestly. Bundling it into the unit price looks tidy and hides the one line that changes most often between shipments.

  • Specification locked in writing before production starts
  • Document pack prepared per destination market
  • Private label files archived for future rebrands
  • Seven-day defect reporting with replace-or-credit
  • Mixed SKU cartons to spread first-order risk
  • Named account contact who has handled the product

Where defects actually come from

Leak complaints almost always trace back to one of three things: an over-torqued centre post, a seal that sat in a hot container, or a fill volume pushed past the design limit. We cap fill volume slightly below maximum for exactly that reason.

We photograph the packing station during production for volume orders. It is a small thing, but it settles most arguments about what was actually in the carton before it was sealed.

Frequently asked

How long does production take?

Around 25 working days after artwork approval for stock configurations, plus transit. Custom runs add roughly a week for tooling and a physical dummy. We confirm the date in writing on the order acknowledgement.

What happens if part of the order is defective?

Report within seven days with photos and the batch code. Confirmed defects are replaced or credited on the next shipment. The failure is logged by mode and batch, and reviewed monthly with the factory.

Can we order samples before committing?

Yes. Sample orders are shipped by air express and the cost is credited against your first production order above 200 units. We would rather you handle the sample than approve a specification from a photograph.
